Dec 29, 2010 - Wednesday Meditation (Blessed by the LORD!)

There is a certain paradox for those blessed by the Lord. Mary was given the blessedness of being the mother of the Son of God. That blessedness also would become a sword which pierced her heart as her Son died upon the cross. She received both a crown of joy and a cross of sorrow. But her joy was not diminished by her sorrow because it was fueled by her faith, hope, and trust in God and his promises.

MERRY CHRISTMAS & A HAPPY NEW YEAR TO ALL!

MY CHRISTMAS & NEW YEAR PRAYERS FOR YOU

by Berteni Cataluña Causing on Tuesday, December 21, 2010 at 12:22am

My friend,

SURE I AM HAPPY THIS CHRISTMAS & NEW YEAR. This is because I only need enough to make my life beautiful. And that enough is too little in whatever measure.

I only need one plate each eating time to make my stomach grind and make my body work for another income, so that if I had more than one plate I will give it to the man sitting next to me.

I cannot drive two cars at the same time so that I would rather give the excess money to my mother or father or siblings instead of buying another car.

I cannot wear two pairs of shoes at the same time so that I would just buy one more as an alternate and give the excess for others to have shoes, too.

I cannot sleep at two houses at the same time so I would invest the excess money in order to create jobs for the jobless.

The list is endless but the substance is the same.

With this premise, I AM PRAYING THAT ALL MY CHRISTIAN FB FRIENDS, ALL MY MUSLIM FB FRIENDS, ALL MY BUDDHIST FB FRIENDS, and ALL FB FRIENDS WHO DO NOT HAVE GOD THAT THEY ALL LIVE A SIMPLE LIFE AND GIVE THE EXCESS TO THEIR RELATIVES OR BUILD A BUSINESS SO THAT THEY CAN GIVE JOBS TO THEIR FELLOWMEN.

MERRY CHRISTMAS AND A HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Patriotically,

It appearing that numerous unfounded comments have been made on the incidents pending in these cases that only confused the issue and do not in anyway serve the end of justice, the parties, their lawyers, and representatives are hereby ordered to refrain from issuing any press releases or granting any interview or otherwise making any comment or opinion on these cases pending the promulgation of the decision herein. So ordered

Edilberto Sandoval, Chairman, Second Division
Teresita Diaz-Baldoz, Associate Justice
Roland Jurado, Associate Justice

Alan Paguia at Atty. Homobono Adaza.

Jesus Micael. Siya ang tumatayong Tagapagsilita ng office of the special prosecutor ng Office of the Ombudsman hinggil sa plea bargaining agreement sa kasong pandarambong laban kay Major Gen. Carlos Garcia. What else is new with the Office of the Ombudsman. Madalas nilang hini-HIT AND RUN ang taumbayan.

Na-postpone!?

Sa matigas niyang paninindigan, naitanong ko kung kaya bang idepensa sa Plaza Miranda ng Office of the Ombudsman ang kanilang panig sa isyung ito. Oo daw.

Abangan!!!

A Lasting Christmas Truce

In 1914, ninety-six years ago, during the Great War — or World War I as we call it today — the British and French armies were manning the 27-mile Western Front fiercely defending French territory from the advancing German Army. Across the British and French trenches, as near as 200 feet away, the Germans were dug in. What separated the opposing armies was a place called “No Man’s Land.”

On Christmas Eve, one of the most ...

MY CHRISTMAS & NEW YEAR PRAYERS FOR YOU

My friend,

SURE I AM HAPPY THIS CHRISTMAS & NEW YEAR. This is because I only need enough to
make my life beautiful. And that enough is too little in whatever measure.

work for another income, so that if I had more than one plate I will give it to
the man sitting next to me.

I cannot drive two cars at the same time so that I would rather give the excess
money to my mothe...

Perhaps our Advent has not been the time of watchfulness that we hoped it would be. But it is not too late. Like St Joseph , we can awake from sleep full of purpose, believing the promises of God that Joseph believed. The feast of Christmas should draw our hearts towards the furnace of divine love. In the manger, with Mary and Joseph looking on, the mystery of the infinite love of God for us sinners is powerfu...
