Mild quake hits Capiz

ROXAS CITY, Philippines—A 2.8-magnitude earthquake hit the province of Capiz 7:45 Monday morning.

Reynaldo Antioquia of the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) in Roxas City said the epicenter of the earthquake was about 21 kilometers northwest of the city.

The earthquake was also felt in Ivisan town, some 16 kilometers from Roxas City, at intensity 2.

The tremor was tectonic in origin, Antioquia added.

No one got hurt; no properties have been damaged
