Long-time suspected shabu pusher in Butuan finally arrested by authorities

            BUTUAN CITY (PNA) - Long-time shabu pusher victimizing mostly students and young adults here finally got arrested in a buy bust operation by Anti-Illegal Drugs Special Operations Task Force (AIDSOTF) headed by Police Inspector Junyd Marohom and local PDEA operatives.

 

            AIDSOTF in their report to Caraga Police Regional Office here identified the long-time suspected shabu pusher as Ronald Collangco May, 23, single, and resident of Luz Village , Purok 1, Barangay Bayanihan, Butuan City . According to police report, May is known in the illicit illegal drugs trade as alyas “Bolantoy/Michael”.

 

            Police said AIDSOTF operatives arrested the suspect in a shabu buy bust in broad daylight almost noon yesterday Tuesday (November 22) with many people in the surroundings at J.C. Aquino Avenue near Petron Gasoline Station near residential and commercial houses at Purok 1, Barangay Bayanihan this city.

 

            Shabu peddling here are allegedly made right in the streets.

 

            Confiscated from Bolantoy/Michael were 12 sachets of suspected shabu (around 12 grams), 5 pieces PhP100.00 bill, 2 pieces Nokia cellular phones and one (1) round M16 live ammunition.

            The suspect’s arrest was witnessed by Barangay officials like Barangau Kagawads Ruel Angay and Elpedio Omandam with Bombo Radyo reporter Aurum Satorre.

 

            Police said, the suspect was immediately brought to Butuan City Police and were accorded of his rights. (PNA/Ben Serrano)
