DILEMMA IN THE SC-VIZCONDE ROW: Our people are now divided as to how to treat the allegations of Lauro Vizconde about bribery and filthy maneuverings in the Supreme Court: should the issue be killed now, as it were, as suggested by SC spokesman Jose Midas Marquez, and leave everybody hanging and entertaining doubts about the integrity of our justices and of the entire judicial system here?

Or should someone investigate Vizconde’s charges further, as a preliminary step to putting things right in the judiciary where no one believes the courts anymore? This is a very serious dilemma which should be resolved with dispatch because it could explode right in our faces.
