ISSUES ON MARCOS CHILDREN, LEGAL AND OTHERWISE: Did the late President Marcos sire children other than Sen. Bongbong, Gov. Imee and Ms. Irene? If he did, I will not be surprised. The handsome looks and exceptional brains of the former leader, coupled with his absolute presidential powers, should have made it easy for him to go to bed with any woman he fancied---even under the very noses of his personal and official families.

So the real issue here, if you ask me, is not whether Marcos had children other than Bongbong, Imee and Irene. The real issue is how many children he really had, legal and illegitimate, and where are they now.

LACSON’S `CODDLERS’ ARE NO CODDLERS: Should the country even be talking about the people who “coddled” Sen. Panfilo Lacson during the time he went into hiding to avoid the warrants for his arrest in connection with the Dacer-Corbito double murder case?

The answer is no, simply because when Lacson was cleared by the Court of Appeals, the clearance retroacted from the time the charges against him were filed at the prosecutor’s office, so that there was never a point, from the legal point of view, that he could be considered a criminal. There could therefore be no “coddlers” to speak of here, but mere friends who only tried to help an innocent man.

NEWEST DISCO JOINT IN TOWN: The jailers of murder suspect Jason Ivler have a lot of explaining to do with reports that he has been allowed to party with wine and women inside his detention cell at the Quezon City jail. The first question is: how did the party even take place? Second is, how were the wine and women brought in?

Then, how come pictures were even taken of the event and later on splashed on social networking sites at the Internet? This proves the power of cellphones and other modern-day gadgets now in existence which should, technically, make all of us be wary of the things we do.

Surely, somebody got paid handsomely here. Balato naman!!!

WHY NO DFA INTEREST IN ANOTHER OFW FACING EXECUTION? Now, tell me: why is it that nobody from the government seems interested in the case of Celestino “Dondon” Lanuza, another overseas Filipino worker (OFW) who has been sentenced to die in a foreign country and who is just awaiting his execution?

Miraculously, Lanuza has been storming his Facebook account with appeals for help, and yet, nothing is moving. The guy has even become brash in his postings and requests and understandably so, but I am amazed that he is being ignored. Will the Department of Foreign Affairs tell us why is this so?

Bakit walang pagkilos sa Lanuza case?

INSPIRASYON SA BUHAY: “…`Ang lalaking galit at nakikipaghiwalay sa kanyang asawa,’ ayon sa Panginoon, ang Diyos ng Israel, `ay nagkakasala sa taong dapat ay binibigyan niya ng proteksiyon,’ ayon sa Makapangyarihang Diyos…” (Malakias 2:16, Bibliya).

ISYU SA MARCOS CHILDREN, LEGAL O HINDI: May anak ba ang Pangulong Marcos maliban kay Sen. Bongbong, Gov. Imee at Ms. Irene? Kung meron, di ako magtataka. Sa kanyang kisig, pambihirang talino at kapangyarihan bilang pangulo, tiyak na magiging madali para sa kanya ang makuha ang sinumang babaeng naisin niya---kahit pa sa ilalim mismo ng ilong ng kanyang personal at opisyal na pamilya.

Kaya naman ang tunay na isyu dito, sa aking tingin, ay hindi yung kung may ibang anak nga ba si Marcos maliban kay Bongbong, Imee at Irene. Ang tunay na isyu ay kung ilang anak meron siya, legal at ilehitimo, at kung nasaan na sila ngayon.

LACSON ISYU DI NA DAPAT PAG-USAPAN: Dapat bang pinag-uusapan ng bansa ang mga taong sinasabing “nagkanlong” kay Sen. Panfilo Lacson noong siya ay nagtago upang maiwasan ang mga warrants of arrest laban sa kanya mula sa Dacer-Corbito double murder case?

Hindi na dapat, kasi noong nilinis ng Court of Appeals si Lacson, ang paglilinis na ito ay nagkabisa mula pa noong unang masampahan siya ng kaso sa prosecutor’s office, kaya walang oras, sa mata ng batas, na maituturing siyang kriminal. Dahil diyan, wala ding “nagkanlong” sa kanya, kundi mga kaibigan lamang na tumulong sa isang taong walang kasalanan.

PINAKABAGONG DISCO JOINT: Maraming dapat ipaliwanag ang mga tagakulong ni murder suspect Jason Ivler ukol sa mga ulat na pinapayagan pala siyang magkaroon ng party sa kanyang kulungan kasama ang alak at mga babae sa Quezon City Jail. Ang unang tanong: bakit nagka-party? Pangalawa, papaanong naipasok sa selda ang alak at babae?

Tapos, bakit may mga litrato pa ng party na siyang nailabas sa mga social networking sites sa Internet? Ito ay pagpapatunay sa kapangyarihan ng cellphone at iba pang mga makabagong gamit na dapat ay nagbubunsod sa ating maging maingat sa mga ginagawa natin.

Tunay nga, may kumita dito ng malaki. Balato naman!!!
