13,368 Sertipikadong Pinoy – TESDA

        Abot sa 13,368 technical-vocation graduates at umuwing overseas Filipino workers ang Sertipikadong Pinoy, iniulat ng Technical Education and Skills Authority (TESDA).

        Ayon kay TESDA director general Joel Villanueva, ang nasabing bilang ay pumasa sa isang linggong National Technical Vocational Education TrainingCompetency Assessment and Certification (NATCAC) na nagsimula noong Marso 28 at nagtapos noong Abril 2.

        Aniya, isinagawa nila ang NATCAC upang mabigyan ng sertipiko ng pagkadalubhasa ang mga nagtapos ng TEC-VOC at skilled workers mula ibang bansa para mapalaki ang tsansang magkaroon ng trabaho dito sa bansa at sa ibayong dagat.

        “Kapag Sertipikadong Pinoy, mas malaki ang tsansang makahanap ng trabaho dito sa atin at sa ibang bansa at tataas ang sahod. Ang sertipiko ay magsisilbing pasaporte nila,” pahayag ni Villanueva.

        “This shows that more and more students and workers are turning to the technical-vocational education as an alternative stream to getting employment,” dagdag ni Villanueva. Mac Cabreros
