Pagtuturo gamit ng sariling lengguwahe, isinulong

          Bilang pakikiisa sa selebrasyon ng International Mother Language Day ngayong araw, isinulong ng Department of Education ang Mother Tongue –base Multilingual Education o MTB-MLE.

          Batay sa DepEd Memorandum No. 19, series of 2011, sinuportahan ng kagawaran ang general conferencing United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) na nagsusulong ng paggamit ng sariling lengguwahe sa pagtuturo.

“This celebration challenges us to explore more possibilities on how MTB-MLE can help our country achieve the 2015 Education for All (EFA) goals, particularly in making every child a reader. We can only achieve this if we reach, beyond the drop outs, the marginalized women and girls, child laborers, adult illiterates, indigenous peoples, children in conflict areas, and children in very isolated locations,” pahayag ng DepEd.

Nabatid na mas medaling matuto ang bata kapag gumamit ang guro ng lengguwahe sa lokalidad sa pagtuturo.  Mac Cabreros.
