Edukasyon ng may autism, itataguyod ng DepEd

Makatuwang na itataguyod ng Department of Education (DepEd) at Globe Philippines, sa pakikipatulungan ng Autism Society of the Philippines, ang isang web-based visual learning technology para turuan ang mga batang may autism.

Ayon kay Education Undersecretary for Plans and Programs Yolanda Quijano, gagamitin nila ang visual learning software na tinawag “Vizzle” para sa mga batang may autism spectrum disorder o ASD.

“Most of the children with disabilities belonged to the five million that are out-of-school. This is the number we are targeting so that they will be included in our program,” pahayag ni Quijano sa paglalagda ng Memorandum of Agreement, saan sasagutin ng Globe ang internet connection.

Mac Cabreros
