PLEASE DONATE OLD BOOKS TO NPC SCHOOL OF JOURNALISM & LETTERS
Hello compatriot,
I am Berteni "Toto" Cataluña Causing.
Pardon me if I appear aggressive but I cannot do otherwise than to let loose my inhibition in the name of a noble project.
The National Press Club has applied for accreditation before the Commission on Higher Education (CHEd) for the establishment of National Press Club School of Journalism and Letters.
This will be a school free for the sons and daughters of poor journalists and all other children who will commit their life to the vocation of journalism. This will be free of tuition because the faculty shall be composed of professional members of NPC who have volunteered to teach under the concept of "teach your own children."
Our mission is to come up with graduates who are excellent in journalism and ethics.
To fortify our application, we are soliciting books (old or new) to meet the minimum requirement of 3,000 books for our library.
We have set our target to start in the first semester of the school year 2011 to 2012 and it will be housed at the rooms and the Plaridel Hall of the NPC Bldg. at No. 1 Magallanes Drive, Intramuros, Manila.
Donations may be sent through a courier or in person to BERTENI "TOTO" CAUSING, Ground Floor, National Press Club Bldg., No. 1 Intramuros, Manila.
Patriotically yours,
Berteni "Toto" Causing

Dec 4, 2010 - Saturday Meditation (Our Father!) Have you ever really noticed how God wants you to address Him? Yes, He is the Almighty King of the universe. Yes, He is the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End. Yes, He is the Omnipotent, Omnipresent and Omniscient One. We should acknowledge and honor His grandeur; we should praise Him because of who He is. But notice that God wants us to address Him as Father first. Saturday of the First Week in Advent Isaiah 30:19-... Continue reading...

THE “PHL” HAS IT
CHICAGO (jGLi) – There is no doubt symbols, abbreviations and codes were among the best known methods used by man to get ahead of the competition and to get his message around.
There was Constantine, the first Christian ruler, who said, “In Hoc Signos Vinces!” (In This Sign, Ye Shall Conquer), as he told his soldiers to paint the cross symbols on their shields.
Facing Maxentius and his soldiers four times in number than his,... Continue reading...

Waiting for the correct time for everything is important in life. If we choose to move to fast or to slow we can certainly miss an important opportunity. Biblical principles are equally important regarding timing for everything. We must learn to wait on God and His direction. If we are Biblicaly literate, we are already well -aware of these Godly principles. God's design for everything... including timing is abs... Continue reading...
