Walumput limang porsyento ng 7, 526 biktima ng Martial Law noong panahon ni Pangulong Ferdinand Marcos ang nakatanggap ng $1, 000 danyos.
Ayon kay Atty. Robert Swift, lead counsel ng human rights victims na nagsampa ng class suit sa United States laban sa pamilya Marcos at cronies, 6, 500 ang nabayaran sa pamamagitan ng Commission on Human Rights (CHR).
“Under the difficult circumstances presented, such a success rate can be considered a home run,” pahayag ni Swift sa isang briefing.
Inihayag naman ni Atty. Rod Domingo, abogado pa ng HR victims, na nakatakdang ipagkakaloob ang ikalawang bugso ng pamamahagi ng tseke sa sunod na mga araw.

Ikinabahala ng pamunuan ng Department of Education (DepEd) ang paglaganap ng bayolenteng cartoon sa telebisyon.
Ayon kay Education Secretary Armin Luistro, nababahala sila sa masamang epektong dulot ng maraming palabas sa telebisyon gaya ng cartoon.
