Bading man, may karapatan din
Hiniling ng Progressive Organization of Gays in the Philippines (Progay) sa gobyerno na isulong ang karapatan ng mga lesbian, gay, bisexual at transgender.
Sa sulat kay Pangulong Benigno Aquino, incoming Foreign Affairs Secretary Albert Del Rosario at Philippine Representative sa Geneva at New York, hiniling ng Progay na maisulong ang kanilang karapatan sa gaganaping Human Rights Council meeting sa Marso 9.
“Hiling naming na pirmahan at ipaglaban ang ‘Nagkakaisang Panindigan’ para tuldukan ang karahasan at iba pang paglabag sa karapatang-pantao lalo sa gender identity,” pahayag ni Goya Candelario, tagapagasalita ng grupo. Pinapabasura rin ng Progay ang Anti-Vagrancy Law dahil ginagamit ito ng mga otoridad para matapakan ang kanilang karapatan. Mac Cabreros
