People power for change, ikinasa

          Katiyakan sa trabaho, pabahay at hustisya.

          Ito ang sigaw ng iba’t ibang grupo sa pagdiriwang ng ika-25 anibersaryo ng EDSA People Power ngayong Pebrero 25.

          “Joblessness, homelessness and social injustices will remain unresolved unless framework policies are overhauled,” pahayag ng Bagong Alyansang Makabayan sa isang statement.

          Inihayag ni Paulo Quiza, NCR spokesperson ng Bayan, dapat isentro ang selebrasyon ng EDSA 1 sa tunay na pagbabago sa gobyerno kung saan nakatuon para sa pagpapaangat sa kabuhayan at pagpapahalaga sa kapakanan at karapatan ng mamamayan.

          Inihayag naman ng Eastern Police District Office (EPDO) na tutulong sila sa pangangalaga ng kaayusan at kapayapaan sa bisinidad ng EDSA gaya sa People Power monument sa panulukan ng EDSA at White Plains gayundin sa EDSA Shrine sa Ortigas. Mac Cabreros
