PAPI TO HOLD TWO-DAY VISIONING SESSION

                As 2011 heralds hopes and challenges, the Publishers Association of the Philippines, Inc. (PAPI) is holding a two-day visioning session on January 9-10, 2011 at the Aklan State University in Banga, Aklan.

                Johnny Nunez, PAPI executive director, said the two-day visioning meet will enable PAPI to program and calendar its activities for the next three years in order to achieve its objectives, vision and mission. 

                The planning session will be attended by PAPI officers, directors, regional chairmen, and other media representatives representing different media organizations throughout the country.

Happily, Nunez said,  the two-day media meet will enable its participants to witness the famous Kalibo Ati-Atihan 2011.

According to Nunez, the PAPI planning session will define the strategic role of the media in nation building.
