REIMAGINE, PILIPINAS BUKAS

By SEN. FRANCIS PANGILINAN

What do Jim Paredes, Conrad De Quiros, Marian Roces, Senator Francis Pangilinan, Senator TG Guingona, Senator Serge Osmena, Neric Acosta and Mae Paner have in common?

Nothing and everything.

These people, along with more than a hundred other participants, will convene on January 28 to 30, 2011 at the Meralco Management and Leadership Development Center (MMLDC) to refocus, reinvent, reimagine a Philippines that we all want to live in.

The May 2010 elections opened a window of opportunity for people from various sectors to participate in the success of the Aquino administration. As stakeholders in the last elections, these people from various sectors volunteered their time, resources and most of all, their dedication in making sure the people's choice is what came out of the ballots.

But the work doesn't end there. In the true essence of People Power, the event will put into action the fervent desire to effect genuine change and true reforms in the country.

We invite you, the media, to cover this unique gathering of people that can reshape our future. We invite you to cover ReImagine, Pilipinas Bukas.

The media will have the opportunity to cover the opening on Saturday, January 29, 2011 at 9:00am. Before this, we would like to share breakfast with you at 7:30am before the start of the conference.

At the end of the conference on Sunday, January 30, 2011, the media is again invited to the closing rites and press conference that will follow at 6:00pm.

Thank you.
