SENATE OFFICE, Manila, December 4, 2010-Senator Francis "Kiko" Pangilinan on his calls to his colleague Senator Panfilo Lacson to face the accusations being implicated in the Dacer-
Corbito murder case made against him to prove that he is innocent.

Pangilinan said that if Lacson is innocent then he has nothing to fear at all and besides President Aquino is the new administration whose mandate is to serve the best interest of the people, adding that Lacson is a known ally of Aquino in the Senate.

Lacson is being tagged as fugitive and has been hiding for almost a year. Pangilinan cited Senator Antonio Trillanes IV who faced the consequences. Pangilinan advised Lacson that it is better for him to return to the folds of law to prove he is not guilty, adding that the government is sincere to serve justice.

“Just like what Malacañang has said, the government reassured that due process will be served to him,” Pangilinan said. (Jason de Asis)
