British national found dead in NE

CABANATUAN CITY, Nueva Ecija, January 4, 2011-A 58-year-old British national is found dead inside a subdivision here early morning of New Year’s eve, in what police probers suspect was a case of robbery-homicide.

 

Police Supt. Eliseo Cruz, Cabanatuan police chief, the police identified the British national as Graham Paul Bayley, 58, of 618 Luz Street, de Guzman Subdivision, Barangay Bantug Norte.  Bayley sustained gunshot wounds in his neck, left jaw and on the upper right back portion of his body.

 

Cruz said Bayley’s body was found by early morning joggers while slumped along the main road at the de Guzman subdivision and immediately notified the police.

 

Initial police reports said the victim was last seen alive drinking liquor alone at the Shiro KTV bar in the barangay. He left the place at about 3:30 a.m.

 

PO2 Gregorio Bautista, officer-on-case said scene-of-crime operatives (SOCO) recovered two empty caliber .45 shells at the crime scene.

 

Bayley’s wallet was missing while his ATM cards, calling cards and photos were seen near his body.

 

Cruz said a follow-up team has identified a certain  Hearns Valen Hizon, as one of the suspects. Hizon’s last known address is at Sto. Nicolas subdivision here.

 

He said that a province-wide manhunt operation has been ordered against the suspect. (Jason de Asis)
