DR. NORBERTO L. MERCADO BOOKS FOR UNIVERSITIES AND COLLEGES IN THE ASEAN REGION


     Today, I visited Thamassat University to donate my books to their main library. 

      Thamassat University is the second best university in the whole of Thailand, and one of the best in the ASEAN Region. The university is a walking distance from the Royal Palace in Bangkok.

       The International Communicators Open University which the Lord God led me to start in 2002 has a program called DR. NORBERTO L. MERCADO BOOKS FOR UNIVERSITIES AND COLLEGES IN THE ASEAN REGION.

        We have donated my books to top universities in the following ASEAN members : Singapore, Malaysia, Cambodia, Thailand, and of course the Philippines. 


         Here in Thailand, my novels can be found in the libraries of Chulalongkorn University and Thamassat University.

         In Singapore, the National University of Singapore (NUS) library has my novels.

         The University of Malaysia in Kota Kinabalu, Malaysia, is another recipient.

          When I was in Pnom Penh, Cambodia recently, I visited two top schools : Cambodian Institute of Technology and the Royal Institute of Foreign Languages. Their libraries have my novels.

          In the Philippines, my novels can be found in the main library of the University of the Philippines in Diliman, Quezon City.

          The University of Macau main library also has my novels. Macau is now back to China.

           The aim of this program of book donation to ASEAN  countries
is to establish friendship with this institutions of learning.

           I hope to have the opportunity to visit the libraries of top universities and colleges in the ASEAN Region so I can also share my books to them.

            Enjoy your work. I enjoy doing this. It gives me fulfillment in my career as a historical novelist. 

            I praise God for giving me the opportunity to do this.
