    The Deadliest Sin

People tend to forget that God is the Creator and Ruler of the vast and mighty universe.

This "forgetfulness" is caused by the sin of unbelief.

Having doubted the existence of God the Creator, man is bewildered when he confronts forces beyond his ability to control - such as hurricanes/typhoons, earthquakes, volcanic eruptions, and tidal waves.

The deadliest sin of man is pride. This unbelief is caused by man's pride.

The source of pride, the Bible declares, is Lucifer.

He was the chief of the angels, and he wanted to ascend to the throne of the Most High and be like God.

Man, especially when he gets liberal university education, becomes proud.

He thinks man is the center of the universe, and he knows all and can explain all due to his senses.

Pride comes before the fall.

God just laughs at him and calls him a fool. (Psalm 2)

Don't be proud.

Pride will bring you to your destruction.

The mightiest men in history have all been destroyed by pride.

Repent from your sins, and turn to Christ for mercy and forgiveness.(1 John 1:8 and 9)
